This is a free Google Sheets reading log for books, class notes and board exam reviewers. Set a small daily goal in minutes. Add one line after you read. The top of the Log shows today, this week, goal days and where you stopped.

The problem it solves

You plan to read every day, then a busy week wipes it out and it feels like you failed. This sheet counts half your goal as a good day and 5 of 7 days as a good week. Missed a week? The next one is a fresh start.

What is inside

• Start Here tab. Three setup steps, your daily goal and your books or materials.
• Presets. Student, Reader, Board exam reviewer or Custom.
• Your books and materials. Title, type, total pages and status. Pages read fills in from the Log.
• Log tab. Today, this week, goal days, good weeks, pages this month and where you stopped on top. Your reading log right under them, with the last 4 weeks beside it.
• Pages read or last page. Type either one. The sheet works out the other.
• Months tab. Every month at a glance, your best weekday and a chart.
• Fix it box. Quick answers for common problems, right inside the file.

How it works on your phone

Open the free Google Sheets app. After you read, go to Log, type the date, pick the book and type the minutes. Add the page where you stopped if you like. No scripts, no forms and no buttons.

The setup is easier on a laptop, but daily use is made for your phone.

Questions people ask

Does it work in Excel?

It is made for Google Sheets and tested there. You can download your copy as an Excel file from the File menu, and the numbers still work. Some colours, charts or dropdowns may look different in Excel, so we only promise full support in Google Sheets.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Daily use works in the free Google Sheets app. To make your copy, open the copy link in your phone browser, not the app, because the app hides the Make a copy option.

Do I need a Google account?

Yes. A free Google account is enough.

Can I track class notes, not books?

Yes. Each title can be a Book, Notes, Reviewer or Article.

What if I paid and changed my mind?

It is free, so you never have to pay. If you chose to pay something, you get a full refund within 14 days. No questions asked. Just reply to your receipt or email us.
