Quick answer
Habit Tracker with Chart is a $3 Google Sheets template by Plainsort for virtual assistants, freelancers and students. Ten habits, a dashboard, a year map and streaks that forgive a missed day. It works on your phone in the free Google Sheets app.
See your habits, not just tick them.
This is a Google Sheets habit tracker with a dashboard and charts. You tick what you did today. The month tab shows your progress and streaks. The Dashboard and Year Map show which habits stick, which slip, and your best and hardest days.
Who it is for
- Work from home VAs, including night shift VAs
- Freelancers building a steady routine
- Students who want to see progress over a full year
- You, if the free habit tracker felt too small
The problem it solves
A tick box tells you what you did today. It does not tell you that you always skip the gym on Mondays, or that your water habit fell apart in September. This one does, with charts that fill in on their own.
What is inside
- Start Here tab. Four setup steps, your settings and up to 10 habits.
- Presets. WFH VA, Night shift VA, Freelancer or Student. Or pick Custom.
- 12 month tabs. Today, this month, good streak, good weeks, best habit and longest run on top. Your daily ticks right under them, plus mood and a short note.
- Weekly check in. Good days, your best win and one thing to change, at the bottom of each month.
- Dashboard. Ticks this year, year rate, good weeks and longest streak. By month, by habit, your best day of the week, and a chart for any habit you pick.
- Year Map. Each habit by month and by day of the week, coloured from slow to strong. See your best and hardest day for each habit.
- Fix it box. Quick answers for common problems, right inside the file.
How it works on your phone
Open the free Google Sheets app. Go to this month's tab and tick the habits you did. The first six habits fit on a phone screen. Habits 7 to 10 sit to the right, so swipe to see them. No scripts, no forms and no buttons.
The setup is easier on a laptop, but daily use is made for your phone.
What makes it different
Forgiving streaks. A good week is 5 of 7 good days. One slip does not reset everything.
Hardest day is a hint, not a grade. The Year Map shows the day each habit slips, so you can plan a smaller version for that day.
What you get
- One Google Sheet with 15 tabs: Start Here, Dashboard, January to December and Year Map
- Up to 10 habits with your own short names and goals
- Four presets plus Custom
- Charts that update on their own
- A copy link that puts your own copy in your Google Drive
- Email support from a real person
Questions people ask
Does it work in Excel?
It is made for Google Sheets and tested there. You can download your copy as an Excel file from the File menu, and the numbers still work. Some colours, charts or dropdowns may look different in Excel, so we only promise full support in Google Sheets.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Daily use works in the free Google Sheets app. To make your copy, open the copy link in your phone browser, not the app, because the app hides the Make a copy option.
Do I need a Google account?
Yes. A free Google account is enough.
Can I start in the middle of the year?
Yes. Start on this month's tab. Rates count from the day you set in Tracking since, so empty months do not pull you down.
What if it is not for me?
You get a full refund within 14 days. No questions asked. Just reply to your receipt or email us.
How do I get help?
Email [email protected]. We reply within 24 hours.
